There’s a quiet space that lives between Christmas and the New Year.
It’s not loud like the holidays or hopeful like January 1st.
It’s softer. Slower. Sometimes a little tender.
This in-between season often brings reflection whether we ask for it or not.
You may be looking back over the year thinking, “I didn’t end up where I thought I would.”
Or maybe, “I survived more than I ever expected.”
Or even, “I’m tired—and I don’t know what’s next yet.”
Here’s the truth that matters most right now:
You don’t need answers to still be rising.
Between the years isn’t meant for pressure.
It’s meant for presence.
You’re allowed to pause here.
To acknowledge what was lost, what was learned, and what is still unfolding.
You’re allowed to honor the strength it took just to get here—because making it to this space means something.
Rising doesn’t always look like forward motion.
Sometimes it looks like standing still and realizing you didn’t quit.
Sometimes it looks like breathing again after a hard season.
Sometimes it looks like trusting God with unanswered questions.
This space between the years isn’t wasted time.
It’s sacred ground.
If you’re feeling unsure, unsettled, or unfinished—good news:
God does some of His deepest work in the in-between.
You don’t need a resolution yet.
You don’t need a plan fully mapped out.
You don’t need to reinvent yourself before January arrives.
You are still rising—right here, right now—simply by staying open, staying faithful, and staying willing.
Let this moment be gentle.
Let it be honest.
Let it be enough.
Phoenix Declaration
I am still rising—even in the in-between.
I trust God with what’s unfinished.
I don’t rush my healing or my becoming.
This space is not a setback—it’s preparation.
