If I could tell you one thing that would save you years of frustration, it would be this:

Not every question gets an answer.

Trust me, I wish it did.

White text on red wall says do not question authority.

I wish every loss came with an explanation.

I wish every betrayal came with a reason.

I wish every goodbye came with closure.

But life doesn't always work that way.

Sometimes people leave, and we never know why.

Sometimes opportunities disappear, and we never understand what happened.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and there is no explanation that makes it hurt less.

For years, I believed that if I could just find the answer, I could finally have peace.

If I knew why someone treated me the way they did, I could move on.

If I understood why a door closed, I could let it go.

If I could figure out why God allowed something to happen, then maybe it would all make sense.

The problem was that I was making my peace dependent on getting answers.

And some answers never came.

That's when I learned something important:

Peace doesn't come from understanding everything.

Peace comes from accepting that we won't.

I know that sounds hard because it is.

We want certainty. We want explanations. We want life to make sense.

Instead, we're often asked to trust when we don't understand.

We're asked to keep moving forward without having all the pieces.

We're asked to believe there is purpose even when we can't see it yet.

Faith isn't having all the answers.

Faith is taking the next step when you don't.

One day, I realized I had a choice.

I could spend the rest of my life waiting for answers that might never come.

Or I could accept the uncertainty and keep living.

I chose to keep living.

Did all my questions disappear?

No.

Do I still wonder about some things?

Absolutely.

But those unanswered questions no longer control my life.

I've learned that closure isn't always something another person gives us.

Sometimes closure is something we give ourselves.

Sometimes closure is saying, "I may never understand this, but I'm not going to stay stuck here."

Sometimes closure is choosing peace over explanation.

If you're carrying a question that has gone unanswered for years, maybe today is the day you stop waiting for the answer.

Maybe today is the day you give yourself permission to move forward anyway.

Because your future shouldn't have to wait for an explanation that may never come.

Some questions never get answered.

But that doesn't mean your life has to stop.
