Theme: Casting a vision for the future after life-altering shifts. It is sometimes hard to see past what is happening right now but this is one side step in a world of pivoting.
Opening Line:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish…” — Proverbs 29:18
Body:
When life shifts suddenly—divorce, career changes, empty nest, or military transition—your vision can feel clouded by uncertainty. But vision isn’t about perfect clarity; it’s about direction. It’s the God-glimpse of who you’re becoming. There is always a plan bigger than ourselves. We have to find it. Seeing it is creating it.
This week, pause and ask:
-
Who am I becoming in this next season?
-
What does my “restart life” look like if fear wasn't in the way? Fear holds us back even when we don't know we are afraid.
-
What has God whispered that I’ve been too distracted to hear? Do you get woken up at two or three in the morning with some ideas you didn't think about during the day? Just listen.
Vision starts by seeing beyond your current circumstance. It requires faith, imagination, and a bit of sass to say, “I’m not done yet.”
Call to Action:
Spend 10 minutes journaling: If I could boldly rewrite the next chapter of my life, what would it say?
